Focus

As Chief Financial Officer, Jim oversees financial management of 1911 Trust. In this role he is responsible for the accounting, tax, risk management and compliance functions of the office. Jim also participates in the overall strategic and operational management of 1911 Trust.

Background

Jim joined the firm in 2007 and has over 30 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry. Prior to joining 1911 Trust, Jim was one of three founders of Essex Enterprises LLC, a senior living developer, owner and operator in New England. Jim began his career as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers Inc in New York, where he held various positions in mergers and acquisitions, merchant banking and high yield finance. Jim is a graduate of Harvard College.

Away from the office

Jim enjoys spending free time with his wife and with their three daughters and families on Cape Cod.
